About VettedTen

Most "best of" lists aren't. Some are pay-for-placement. Some were written in an afternoon by someone who never weighed any evidence. Some rank whatever pays the highest commission. We got tired of reading them, so we built the site we wanted to use.

Every guide here is the same thing: the ten products in a category that verified owners actually rate, ranked by the strength of that evidence.

Why ten?

Ten covers a category honestly. A best overall, a value pick, a budget option, the premium one, and six others that still earned their spot. It's also few enough that nothing rides along as filler. If a category doesn't have ten products worth recommending, we wait until it does.

Independence

Brands can't pay to appear here, can't pay to move up, and don't hear their position before a page goes live. The site runs on affiliate commissions from the retailer links in our guides. That commission is the same whether you buy our number one or our number ten, so it has no way to bend the order. The details are in our affiliate disclosure and methodology.
